Upon your arrival at Cairo Airport, our representative will be waiting to assist you through airport formalities and escort you to Le Riad Hotel in Cairo to spend the night.
Day 2: Cairo
After breakfast you will depart for a full city tour around Cairo. You will visit the pyramids of Giza and the famous sphinx. Afterwards you will visit the citadel where you will also be visiting the illustrious Mosque of Mohamed Ali (also known as Alabaster). After the visits you will head back to the hotel and stay there overnight.
Day 3: Nile Cruise
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cairo Intl. Airport to fly to the city of Luxor. Our representative will be waiting to transfer you to Dahabiyya Nile cruise, where you will be staying for the next six nights. On the luxurious boat, Dahabiyya, you will enjoy a relaxing week which will help you embark the city of Luxor. After lunch, you will visit the magnificent temple of Amon-Ra at Karnak, with its vast hypostyle hall of 137 columns, followed by the imposing the 28th Dynasty Luxor Temple. After the visits you will return to the boat and stay overnight on the Nile banks of Luxor.
Day 4: Nile Cruise
After breakfast, you will visit the burial places of the pharaohs on the West Bank - the Valley of the Kings - where Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Tutankhamen in 1922. Persistently you will proceed to Valley of the Queens, where you will visit the temple of Medinet Habu and the Colossi of Memnon. After the visits you will return to the boar and sail towards Esna at noon, then stay overnight nearby.
Day 5: Nile Cruise
This will be a leisurely relaxing day. After breakfast, you will start sailing and then stay overnight by an island in the Nile.
Day 6: Nile Cruise
This morning you will sail to Edfu to visit the wonderfully preserved Temple of Edfu. After the visits you will return to the boat and stay overnight by an island in the Nile.
Day 7: Nile Cruise
This morning you will sail to Kom Ombo and stay overnight by an island in the Nile.
Day 8: Nile Cruise
After breakfast you will visit the Ptolemaic temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon-headed Horus in, god of the morning sun Kom Ombo. After the visits you will return to the boat and sail to Aswan. You will stay overnight near the Aswan bridge.
Day 9: Aswan
After breakfast you will visit the Aswan High Dam (completed in 1971) and the Old Dam (completed in 1902). You will also visit the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, a structure rescued from the rising waters of Lake Nasser at the time of the High Dam's construction. After the visits you will return to the boat and stay overnight in Aswan.
Day 10: Aswan
Following breakfast aboard the dahabiyya you will proceed to Anakato, the Nubian Houses. Upon arrival you will check in and enjoy the relaxation activities including the spa of this unique village.
Day 11
After breakfast you will check out from Anakto, and drive to Aswan airport to fly to Abu Simbel. Following your visits in Abu Simbel you will fly back to Cairo through Aswan and drive to Le Riad Hotel in Cairo .
Day 12
Check out from your hotel after breakfast and transfer to Cairo International Airport for final departure.
